Lords of Waterdeep is a strategy board game set in the Dungeons & Dragons universe and the Forgotten Realms. Designed for 2 to 5 players, the game combines worker placement, resource management and strategic planning as players compete for influence over the legendary city of Waterdeep.

Each player takes the role of one of the secretive Lords of Waterdeep. Using your Agents, you recruit Adventurers, gather resources and send them on Quests. Completing Quests earns rewards and helps you expand your influence throughout the city.

During the game, players can purchase new Buildings that open additional action spaces and use Intrigue cards to influence the course of play. Each Lord also has secret objectives that can have an important impact on final scoring.

Lords of Waterdeep combines the fantasy setting of Dungeons & Dragons with an accessible worker-placement system. Careful resource management, efficient use of Agents and attention to your opponents are all important when competing for control of the City of Splendors.
